Questions about text messages to PDF

01Does this upload my messages?

No. sms.db, chat.db, and SMS Backup XML stay in this browser. Closing the tab discards them. The host can see an ordinary page request, not the messages.

02Which backups can I open?

An unencrypted iPhone sms.db, a Mac Messages chat.db, an Android SMS Backup & Restore XML file, or an unencrypted iPhone backup folder. Encrypted iTunes backups and iCloud-only archives are not supported.

03What does the PDF include?

Timestamps, page numbers, and the messages that match the contacts and dates you choose. Bates numbering is optional. Attachment files are listed, not embedded.

04Can I export one conversation?

Yes. Leave every contact unchecked to include all of them, or pick contacts and a UTC date range before you export.

05What does Pro cost?

One Pro subscription is $9.90 per year and covers both tools: text-message export and email conversion. The database is still read in your browser.
